Welcome to the Center for Liberty Studies Edu-Wiki

The purpose of this wiki is to collect and combine the dispersed knowledge of faculty and scholars interested in liberty and undergraduate education.  The goal of this project is the collaborative production of Lesson Modules that can easily be integrated into a number of different courses throughout the curriculum.

To aid authors and bring order out of chaos, we have created a Module Architecture and all modules are in this format. The architecture, though, is not written in stone and shall be reviewed and revised from time to time.  Suggestions and comments about changes in the format should be recorded on our [Architecture Suggestions] page.

You are also invited to write biographies and bibliographies of current, or past, scholars on liberty - with an eye on their use in the classroom.  To do so, either create a new page about the author or contribute to an existing one.  For now, we ask that you use our [Author] format. Any suggestions for changing the author format should be made to [Author Suggestions]

In this manner we hope to serve the needs of both faculty and students.  For faculty we wish to provide useful material that optimizes time expenditures while increasing classroom resources in ideas, authors, and assessment. For students we wish to provide quality instructional information that can be conveyed without requiring students to buy books when they only need a chapter, or buy copyrights when what they really need is material written for them and not the profession.

This project works through individuals combining their knowledge, not by eliminating the contributions of others.  We therefore ask that contributors do not delete the work of others.  It is entirely acceptable to have competing modules on the same topic.  Those not first to the post, though, will have to choose a suitably different name for their page.

New contributors should go to our [FAQ] page for instructions on how to edit and create pages. Further information on creating, editing and using wikis is contained below.
